On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the SaferDeli Erasmus+ project was proudly presented at the 1st Multiplier Event of the REFOCUS Erasmus+ project. Hosted by the American College of Greece – Research Center, this impactful event took place in Athens and served as a vibrant platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The REFOCUS Multiplier Event aimed to bring together local and international stakeholders, as well as representatives from various European Union-funded and Erasmus+ projects, to explore synergies and uncover new opportunities for cooperation. Through dynamic discussions and shared insights, the event underscored the importance of innovation and partnership in addressing pressing societal challenges.
SaferDeli’s Contribution
As part of the event’s objectives to showcase relevant initiatives, SaferDeli took center stage. Representing the Lead Partner, the team member of University of West Attica presented the project’s mission:
“Promoting safer driving behavior for last-mile delivery professionals through digital and multidisciplinary training.”
The presentation highlighted SaferDeli’s core objectives, innovative approaches, and its potential impact on improving road safety skills and professional standards within the fast-growing last-mile delivery sector. By addressing critical challenges in driver training and behavior, SaferDeli aims to contribute to safer urban mobility and enhance the working conditions of delivery professionals.
